CAM RANH Shipyard- inside the CAM RANH BAY with deep water and calm without swell- with land area of 75Ha and sea area of 100Ha, has been constructing 2 slip ways, one with 30,000DWT capacity and the other with 70,000DWT capacity; One graving dock of 200,000DWT capacity, two Floating Dock of 100,000DWT each together with 3 quays with total length 1,040m. The facility is available for the new building of the vessels up to 100,000DWT including Bulk Carriers, Tankers, Container Ships, Ro-Ro and Passenger Ships.CAM RANH BAY is one of the jewels of Vietnam. The long protective seaward peninsula and natural inner and outer harbors form what many believe to be the best and most beautiful deep water port facility in the entire world (one of the best three natural seaports in the world, besides San Francisco in the US and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil). It is located at an inlet of the South China Sea situated on the southeastern coast of Vietnam, between Phan Rang and Nha Trang, approximately 290 kilometers / 180 miles northeast of H＆#7891; Chí Minh City / Saigon. Cam Ranh is often considered one of the finest such seaports in the world. The continental shelf of Southeast Asia is relatively narrow at Cam Ranh Bay, bringing deep water close to land. Moreover, Cam Ranh Bay is one of the most wind tight bays all over the world.
